Readers Digest History

Brian was born in Sayre Oklahoma as the youngest of four children. Although several of his siblings took to the piano, Brian was determined to stand out and took to the guitar.

At the age of 16, already skilled at the piano and saxophone, he began to teach himself the guitar. After receiving a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Brian became the lead guitarist for the band Tricks. Needless to say, touring the United States was much more appealing.

Several years (and bands) later, he decided to begin formal lessons with Jack Wolf (of Phoenix) who also teaches Nick Sterling, and other local artists.

This extra push has enabled Brian to play such complex pieces as "Cliffs Of Dover" by Eric Johnson, "Satch Boogie" by Joe Satriani and "Eruption" by Van Halen with amazing ease.

All in all, he is definitely an artist to take notice of.
